PPG completes COLORFUL COMMUNITIES project in Brazil at Kinder - Integration Center of Special Children
PPG today announced that it has completed another COLORFUL COMMUNITIES™ project in Porto Alegre, Brazil. About 30 PPG employees and their family members volunteered to paint internal and external areas of Kinder - Integration Center of Special Children, where more than 300 babies, children and adolescents with multiple disabilities receive care.

PPG today announced the completion of a COLORFUL COMMUNITIES™ project that helped to revitalize the streets of the Gamchun Cultural Community in Busan, South Korea. The Colorful Communities program provides PPG volunteers and products along with financial contributions to bring color and vitality to communities where the company operates around the world, such as in Busan, where PPG has a manufacturing facility.

PPG highlights reduced emissions, waste and energy use in 2016
PPG today announced that it achieved its goals to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and waste four years ahead of its 2020 target. The company made the announcement as it released its 2016 Corporate Sustainability Report, which details PPG’s progress toward achieving its 2020 sustainability goals. PPG reports first quarter 2017 financial results
PPG today reported first quarter 2017 net sales of about $3.6 billion, up 1 percent versus the prior year. Net sales in local currencies grew nearly 3 percent year-over-year, aided by sales volume growth of 2 percent.
