PPG completes COLORFUL COMMUNITIES project at Kungwini Welfare Organisation in Pretoria, South Africa
PPG recently completed a COLORFUL COMMUNITIES™ project in South Africa which helped revitalise the Kungwini Children’s Home, part of the Kungwini Welfare Organisation. The Colorful Communities program provides PPG volunteers and products, as well as financial contributions, to bring color and vitality to communities where the company operates around the world, such as in Pretoria East, where a Prominent Paints Paint Centre is located.

Two PPG productshave earned 2017 R&D 100 awards in the Mechanical Devices/Materials category. PPG’s Premium Compact Process Primer and LIQUID NAILS® FUZE*IT® All Surface adhesive received top marks according to judges for the 55th annual awards.

PPG Completes COLORFUL COMMUNITIES Project at Arcade Comedy Theater in Pittsburgh
PPG announced the completion of a COLORFUL COMMUNITIES™ project in partnership with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust that helped to revitalize the new location of the Arcade Comedy Theater. PPG expects more blue automobiles on the road in 2018 and beyond
PPG today unveiled its automotive color trends and data, citing blue as the fastest-growing color for automobiles across the world.
In 2016, PPG data showed that blue increased by 3 percent as a preference for luxury, midsize and compact cars. This upward trend continued across a number of regions worldwide this year, with blue increasing as a color preference for luxury cars by 5 percent.

PPG recently completed a COLORFUL COMMUNITIES™ project in Amstelveen, Netherlands, that helped revitalize the facilities of the Royal Dutch Guide Dog Foundation. The Colorful Communities program provides PPG volunteers and products along with financial contributions to bring color and vitality to communities where the company operates around the world, such as in nearby Amsterdam and Uithoorn, where PPG has Architectural Coatings and Protective and Marine Coatings facilities.
