BEIJING, July 4, 2011 – PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG) recently attended the 2011 China Social Responsibility Annual Forum in Beijing and came away with the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Award - Special Prize for the second consecutive year, as well as the Multinational Corporation’s Contribution to China - Special Prize.

“PPG has long viewed sustainable development and corporate social responsibility as priorities, which corresponds well with the theme of this annual forum,” said Ms. Cathy Yan, PPG general manager, government affairs and business development, Asia/Pacific. “Our company believes that enterprises must integrate social responsibility into their growth strategies in order to put both society and the economy on a fast track.”
