WICHITA FALLS, Texas, Feb. 9, 2011 – Employees at PPG Industries’ (NYSE:PPG) glass manufacturing facility in Wichita Falls helped to obtain $4,000 in grants through the PPG Industries Foundation for local organizations where they served on boards in 2010. The employee-requested grants were obtained through a foundation program called Grant Incentives for Volunteerism by PPG Employees and Retirees (GIVE), which recognizes employee and retiree volunteer efforts with annual grants of $500 for an ongoing volunteer relationship or $1,000 for serving on an organization's board of directors.

In 2010, four PPG Wichita Falls employees obtained grants for eligible local organizations where they serve on boards. Recipient organizations include:

• Big Pasture, Okla., Public Schools
• Grandfield, Okla., Public Schools
• Cameron Gardens Volunteer Fire Department
• Wichita West Volunteer Fire Department
