PPG Reno employees get $5,000 in grants for local schools, organizations
Employees at PPG Industries’ architectural coatings manufacturing facility in the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Park in McCarran helped to obtain $2,500 in grants through the PPG Industries Foundation for local schools and organizations in 2010, and the foundation donated $2,500 to United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra (UWNNS) for operating support in 2010.

PPG donates $3,000 to Carlisle Regional Performing Arts Center
The PPG Industries Foundation has donated $3,000 to the Carlisle Regional Performing Arts Center, Inc., to help cover upkeep costs for the Carlisle Theatre, shown at left, such as upgrades to the venue’s projection equipment and sound system.

PPG donates $5,000 to Kids Count Foundation
The PPG Industries Foundation donated $5,000 to the Kids Count Foundation for the St. John’s After School Program, which partners with the La Porte Elementary School to provide services free of charge to more than 100 at-risk children.

PPG directors announce dividend of 55 cents per share
